Karen Blackburn Dance Academy

Performers

Performers Night’  is open to all and gives students the chance to mix dance disciplines, offering a ‘taster’ of several different genres. Our aim is to develop all round performers who are skilled in many areas of stage work, as this is becoming increasingly important for those wishing to have a career in the performing arts. ‘Performers Night’ classes are also an excellent creative outlet and a great way to boost confidence whilst developing performance skills at the same time. They allow younger students, who simply want to come and ‘have a go’, help make choices later on regarding the disciplines they wish to continue with.

Performers Night’ classes are not designed to replace students’ lessons in the week but will compliment their regular classes where they will continue to work on their graded syllabi.
