About KBDA workshops
We run a variety of holiday workshops and Dance Days throughout the year as a way for children to gain confidence, discover hidden talents and make friends through enjoyable and rewarding experiences.
Our workshops include: drama games, storytelling, acting, singing, dancing and the opportunity to share a performance to family and friends. Previous Musical Theatre workshops have included Matilda, Frozen, Calamity Jane, Glee, High School Musical, Annie, Oliver, Grease and many more.
Our Classical Ballet workshops include learning stories and dance movement from the best loved ballets, such as The Nutcracker and working with props and make- up. For older students with a good foundation in dance training the emphasis is on choreography and learning repertoire.
On a regular basis we invite guest teachers (including former students now performing in the West End) to our school during term time and school holidays. We provide masterclasses in a variety of genres including classical ballet and greek, acro, national, jazz and musical theatre. These are always very popular and are open to students of all ages and abilities.
